The CERTIFIED HEPA, US Patent No. 7,048,773, filter is also supplied with a test certificate that verifies matching serial number and efficiency. The CERTIFIED HEPA filter captures everything from hazardous particulate to lead paint dust/chips-RRP (Renovation, Repair and Painting), cement dust, silica dust, engineered stone, mold, etc.
The CERTIFIED one gallon HEPA filter, manufactured with Pentair brand media is at least 99.97% efficient at .3 micron and includes three layers of 56 pleat media. The three layers consist of one cellulose layer and two glass layers.
