Doodle Scrub Grip-Face

The Doodle Scrub grip face reduces friction between the pad and the plate. This allows more power transfer to the work surface. Replace only when the teeth on the grip face are worn out.

Instructions

1. Remove old grip face from the plate. Place plate face down on a Xylene soaked towel for 30 minutes.
2. After soaking in Xylene, scrape any remaining glue from the plate.
3. Abrate the plate using an orbital sander with 80 grit sandpaper to remove a very thin layer of aluminum evenly. After carefully sanding the plate and edges, clean the aluminum with 91% alcohol, and a lint free cloth. Let the plate dry for at least 5 minutes.
4. Remove back liner of the new grip face 2" from the long edge.
5. Evenly line up the exposed area against the long edge of the plate.
6. Smooth evenly, while slowly pulling the liner until completely removed.
7. Press firmly on all areas of the plate.
8. Set machine upright on a blue pad for 24 hours with machine weights before using.
