Here is the deal. I found this wand by accident and was excited because it is 1.25 inches in diameter. I noticed that it came in two pieces, which makes no sense. I ordered it anyway because it was 1.25 but thinking it might work when it arrived. Well, after jamming the two pieces together, it was no good so I had to take it to a metal shop and have it welded. It is a nice product, but the company needs to seriously look at making it once piece and just get a bigger box.

Hello, Thank you for your review, as we do not manufacture this item, we cannot say for sure but most of the time these products are made shorter for shipping purposes. Had this been one piece your shipping would have went from 12.50 to 50.00 because anything over 48 inches gets a ridiculous oversized charge from the shipping companies. Thanks for getting back to me. My concern is I realize the shipping is cheaper, however, if a person is not handy they will not know what to do and end up spending more to have it welded. So, either way you are better off sending a wand that can be used right away, even if the cost is higher to ship it. Just a thought.
